I just bought those Levi's white shorts for exactly the same reason! I love them so far, but I am anticipating some grass stains in my future.

All the better to have clothes that show they've been LIVED in!

loved this okkk not to be an enabler but I have to agree with you on Taller Marmo! it does feel like a very "of the moment" brand, but also something that is going to come back again and again or be a chic as hell vintage dress for my nonexistent daughter to discover in my closet in the future?!

The way you write makes me smile. (What did I say about dresses?!) Anyways, I came to say that I love what you wrote about the clothes always being the problem and not our bodies. The perfect shorts (or mini skirt) should be wider than the widest part of my thigh IMO. So when brands finally caught on and made A-line shorts I was thrilled. Now I can wear shorts without feeling bad about myself 🙌

PS- I own the Amazon version of the Mara shoe (I bought pink) and I wear them constantly without any damage to the shoe. Though I do love the mule version as a way to wink at the trend without being too on the nose.

Yes! The trend in the 2010s was (itty-bitty) tight shorts, so it was an earth-shattering realization when I figured out it didn't have to be that way. Shorts can be easy breezy! IF you can find ones that give you that vibe on your body, which can be challenging.

In general I've reached a place where I'm like: "can I PLEASE get some more fabric here?!?". Wider leg openings. Longer skirts. More billowing jackets. Not being so afraid to just SIZE UP!!! It makes everything feel more comfortable and luxurious.

To combat not wearing my dresses enough I usually wear a tank or tee over the dress and that changes the look. But I told myself no more dresses.

I love this idea! I've just never personally got it to really stick.

I find that sleeveless dresses work better for this trick. I also like using cropped tank tops the best.

Can you add the photos of you wearing the clothes a bit bigger in the post itself? I love seeing the model and then the piece worn on a more typical body ❤️ love, love, love those overalls.

I'm a bit shy, so I don't want to make any promises...but, I hear you! I think what I will aim for more is more consistently adding my selfies to my outfit boards on Indyx, so maybe you can explore more there.

For shorts, check out the Curve Love range at Abercrombie. I got the Dad Short and they are 🌟🌟🌟

I'm a fan of Abercrombie Curve Love! It seems like they're almost the only ones (or at least, the only mass brand...) still committed to having franchises cut with different proportions. I feel like it used to be a lot more common. Like, so few brands are even doing lengths anymore let alone different waist-to-hip ratios!
